Club Nights
Club Nights are due to commence on Tues 30 March and then every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter until the end of September. AGM 2010
The AGM will be held on Thursday 18 March at 7.30 at Hinckley Rugby Club.
We need Volunteers! We are looking for more willing people to come forward and help on the committee, particularly as our Chairman and Treasurer/Membership Secretary are standing down. Please come forward if you think you can help - in anyway whatsoever. It would mean helping the Club substantially in the coming year.
Monday Night Team Coaching + Cardio Tennis

An ideal chance to get tennis fit whilst hitting lots of balls. Suitable for all levels. Maximise your workout by using a heart rate monitor.

Monies must be paid up front.
Adult coaching will continue every Monday from 6.30-8pm until the start of April at a cost of £6 per week.
The coaching team will again consist of Dom, Phil and John Anderson with adult and junior coaching running in the week and at weekends to accommodate members of all standards.
Club Keys
Clubhouse Security Keys - each with their own identity numbers - are available from Dom and Alwyn. There is a £10 deposit for each key - which is returnable - and a register is kept of key holders. Club Tidy

One team has been entered into the junior league this year - Boys under 12. If any more willing volunteers come forward and are prepared to run a team please speak to Dom and she will be more than happy to enter teams in a variety of age groups. It needs you, the parents, to come forward as volunteers to run a team for them to be entered. Contact Dom for more details on 07974 948093.
Floodlit Courts
It is hoped that all 4 courts will be floodlit and run from a meter by the start of the new season. Taokens cost £4 and are available from Dom or Alwyn Club Open Days 2010
These dates will be announced in the next few weeks after the AGM. Days will definitely be offered in May, June and July to hopefully attract more people to join the club. Junior Summer Schools 2009

The Tennis Club moved into the Leisure Centre on 9 Jan with both sessions combining for 8 weeks, in a 10-11am slot to accommodate both 9 and 10 session. The cost is £4 per session.
Juniors recommence back outside on Sat 13 March at 9,10,11 o'clock. Squads will also be running in the week for keen youngsters of all standards. For more details ring Dom on 07974 948093 Winter Floodlit Tournament 2010
The floodlit tournament starts 12 Jan until 15 March.

The Club has become the 15th in Leicestershire to achieve Clubmark accreditation. Paul Sheard, LTA Tennis Development Manager for Leicestershire and Derbyshire, visited Hinckley in November 09 to present the Clubmark plaque and congratulate the club on their efforts. 50th Anniversary Dinner
The Club held its 50th Anniversary Dinner on Sat 21 Nov at Hinckley Golf Club. Live entertainment was provided by Davy Lee. Club Championship trophies were presented by Andy Powell and Neville Smith. The Club Person of the Year Award was presented to Dom Holmes and the Most Improved Player of the Year Award was given to Chris Chatburn.
Tennis Balls
Please be aware that you need to provide your own balls for social play and club nights/afternoons. Balls can be purchased at the club for £5 per can. Balls used from matches may be left for general play, however this is not guaranteed. Saturday Afternoons
Run from 1.30 - 4.30 ish every Saturday.
Just turn up whatever your standard.
